A New Year: A new blog

Reporting from Chicago…

Well, thank you all for joining me in my first attempt at blogging. Can you think of a better way to ring in the New Year than to post all my most intimate thoughts and pictures on the internet for any number of strangers to view? No… oh, me neither. Regardless, I thought this might be a fun way to let everyone know about my trip to India, with a little more detail than facebook allows. The trip promises to be quite memorable, so I figure that this will also help me when I look back on it.

Below is a copy of what we’re planning on doing for the trip, a combination of tourism and academic enrichment. The program started a few years ago as a student organized opportunity to meet leaders of economic development in India. It’s been a tradition ever since and gives a few HKS students and opportunity to speak with corporate, not-for-profit, and government leaders focused on improving the quality of Indian institutions and quality of life. This time around we’re being led by Anjali, Yasmine, and Simonida, who’ve all done an excellent job so far in what must be like herding cats!
